A little about me….

I have worked in the fashion industry for the last 10 years as a print designer for many UK high street brands. My passion for colour, print and pattern runs through my veins! (especially stripes). During my time as a designer I have won several awards, one of which was representing the UK in a colour competition in China.

A Modest Semi began in September 2021, when my partner Archie and I bought our first home together, a 'modest semi' Edwardian house in the heart of Essex. I started documenting the journey on @a.modest.semi and have created such a lovely and engaging community that I love chatting to every day. One of the things I love to share are my colour and material boards, mood boards and room visualisations. Something I'm hoping to offer as a service in 2024.

I have always had a huge love for interiors, ever since I was little... I was OBSESSED with Changing Rooms & always wanted to be Linda Barker's BFF. So now that I'm renovating our home as a creative and interior obsessive, it's like two worlds colliding. That's how a.modest.semi was born.
